Embracing Change is a programme unique to County Fermanagh catering for rural and farmwomen
Women in Agriculture have received an award of excellence from SEUPB as one of the top 15 projects chosen out of 5,200 projects in Peace 11
Since 1999 Women in Agriculture has completed a raft of innovative grass roots needs led programmes through the county to rural and farm women across Fermanagh.
We have just completed a pilot report documenting the Important Role of Rural Women entitled "Whats a Women Worth" which looks at the multi functional role played by women in our rural communities businesses and family life.A vital role in society, in many cases the backbone of many of our rural communities.
The current project funding for 'Embracing Change' ends on 30th June 2008 so we are looking at new avenues of funding for the future. If you have innovative ideas for new programmes please email or telephone the office at anytime.
